Entrepreneurs, direct sales representatives and organizations are invited to be part of Bell Tower Big Top with a booth on the Square during this year’s Bell Tower Festival, June 12-13.
Greene County Chamber organizers anticipate the return of food vendors who bring favorite State Fair-style food each year. They’re ready to welcome all businesses and organizations who want to take advantage of the opportunities provided by thousands of visitors to Jefferson during the Festival.
“With our great entertainment line-up for the Plaza Stage, including a magician, a juggler and more, and other new activities we’re planning around the Square during the day Saturday, we’re hoping to keep more people on the Square for a longer time,” said Chamber tourism committee chair Angie Pedersen. “Plus, with PopROCKS taking the stage Saturday night with its high energy show, we expect more people later in the day than we’ve had in recent years. We think the Festival will provide real opportunities for all our vendors, whether they’re selling wares or promoting a cause.”
Trailers and tents are welcome. Electricity will be available on a limited basis, with early registrations having priority. Vendors are asked to list what they plan to offer on the registration form so that vendors with similar lines can be placed apart from each other.
To maintain the Bell Tower Big Top as a family event, vendors will not be allowed to sell anything that could inflict harm on a child, guns and knives, drugs, alcohol, or fireworks.
In keeping with the Bell Tower Big Top theme, vendors are invited to consider decorating their booth in a circus theme, and organizations are asked to consider fundraising projects that add to the circus atmosphere.
